Hello, Im Billie. I’ve been using a Cammus C5 since 2024. I’m very happy to have tried the Cammus C5 and am very satisfied with the steering wheel. Because I have the latest version of the C5 and the previous version, I’ve seen and felt the improvements in the Cammus C5 in 2025:
- The shift paddles, which were originally made of plastic, are now made of steel and are larger, making them much stronger and more comfortable when changing gears.
- The strip in the center of the steering wheel, which was previously orange, has now become green, further strengthening the Cammus brand.
- The stitching on the inside of the steering wheel has also been changed from black to green.
- The aluminum connecting bracket to the steering wheel has been reduced in size, making it appear more robust.
- The circular section in the center of the steering wheel, originally made of silver metal, is now made of black plastic, which keeps the steering wheel cooler by reducing the conductors in the steering wheel.
- The buttons on the steering wheel have also been made softer and more dove-colored, making them more comfortable to press, with a more muted sound, and the color of the steering wheel appears more premium.
- The rotary knobs on the steering wheel have also become clickier.
- Finally, I noticed that the inside of the steering wheel seems to have been made to dampen steering wheel vibrations more, so that when it hits curbs or sand, the vibrations feel slightly dampened, which should reduce excessive vibrations when touching curbs or sand, which should improve the steering wheel’s durability.
That’s all I’ve noticed about the development of the C5 from the previous year to 2025. Thank you
