I have the C5 bundle, and with F1-26, I started having problems that I attribute to the bundle. What happens is that in any game mode, after a couple of turns, the image freezes and the sound loops (the only solution is to restart the PC because it’s impossible to close and regain control of the game). When I play with a joystick, it doesn’t freeze. Lowering the video quality doesn’t solve the problem either. I updated my graphics card drivers. I lowered the base power by restoring it to the default values, and the problem persists. A few moments before a total crash, I start having problems where the gear changes don’t register; the boost remains active. Moments after these problems, a total crash occurs. Please, if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this problem, let me know.
Hi, thanks for the detailed information.
Based on the symptoms you described, the issue may be related to an input device conflict or DirectInput/XInput mapping. Please try the following steps:
-
Disconnect the keyboard
Unplug the keyboard’s USB cable and test the game again. If the issue no longer occurs, please check your keyboard macros or key bindings for any conflicts with the wheel axes or controls.
-
Disable other input devices
Open Windows Device Manager and check Human Interface Devices or Game Controllers. Temporarily disable any unnecessary input devices, keeping only the C5 bundle and mouse connected/enabled.
You can also temporarily disconnect any gamepads or other controllers before launching the game.
-
Check F1 26 control bindings
Go to Settings → Controls and check the keyboard bindings. Clear any unnecessary keyboard bindings, or keep only basic UI navigation controls, and use the C5 bundle for all driving controls. This can help rule out conflicting or duplicated inputs.
-
Check the USB connection
Connect the C5 bundle directly to a dedicated USB port on the rear I/O panel of the motherboard. Avoid using a front-panel USB port or USB hub. If you have multiple USB devices connected, such as RGB keyboards or other controllers, try disconnecting unnecessary devices and test again.
Please let us know the result after trying these steps. This will help us further identify the cause of the issue.
Thank you for your cooperation.
