I’m here to share a prototype of a GT/GT3‑style wheel for the Cammus C12, fully 3D‑printed in PETG. At the moment, I’m in the testing phase—analyzing flex points and figuring out where to reinforce the base plate.
Here are some photos, and soon I’ll be uploading the 3D design for free on MakerWorld so anyone can build their own.
cool, I really need a 3D printer how does it hold up during actual driving I’m curious how well the 3Dprinted material handles the forces compared to the regular or existing wheel.
This is a really cool project! A 3D-printed GT3-style rim for the C12 sounds like a fun upgrade. Love that you’re planning to share the files with the community too!
I’m curious how much reinforcement the base plate will need to handle the force feedback. Keep us posted on how the testing goes — looking forward to seeing the finished version!
i printed with petg but this one was a prototype so i didnt use to many infill or layers, but it handled very well, im working on a more sturdy version so ill upload the v2 in 1 or 2 weeks i hope !
its really nice, The grip is very comfortable its the best part, plus when i upload the finished one ill add the tip to add some padel grip tape, its incredible how improves the handling of the wheel.
