I’m experiencing an issue with my Cammus C5 wheel when playing Forza Horizon 6. The wheel is not providing any force feedback (FFB) in the game, despite working properly in other titles.
I’ve confirmed that:
The wheel is properly connected and recognized by my system
Forza Horizon 6 detects the wheel but provides no FFB response
Could you please investigate this compatibility issue and provide a firmware update that adds proper FFB support for Forza Horizon 6? This would greatly improve the gaming experience for C5 users.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
Since official compatibility for Forza Horizon 6 has not been released yet, and the game itself is still not officially available, our team will arrange further testing once possible.
If compatibility support is confirmed, we’ll share updates with the community as soon as we can.
The Forza Horizon 6 pre-order launch just went live for me yesterday and I can confirm a similar experience. The wheel works (inputs are detected and can be mapped), but there is no FFB. Moza wheels are experiencing similar things (from what I have heard), but the issue is solvable with a compatibility mode and making sure the wheel base is the only “controller device” the computer sees. This then tells the game to use the wheel for FFB and not just inputs. I was unable to get my Cammus to display as a single controller input, so I was unable to test this. Turning on the “2-in-1 Steering Wheel & base” mode in the Cammus app results in the game crashing at startup every time it is launched.
alot of people are able to use the forza horizon 5 helper to get the FFB working, but it wont open if you dont have FH5 installed, so those of us that dont have it are going to have issues. can you not release the FH5 helper app with an update to recognise FH6 until a more permenant solution can be found? im struggling here, i want to show off the mighty C12 to friends and community but i cant do that if it doesnt work properly.
I walked through those instructions and made the fake Forza Horizon 5 folders/files… pointed the in-app Horizon 5 game to that empty exe, etc. But when I click the “ForzaHorizon5 Helper” box, it still says it cannot find a Horizon 5 install directory.
Hey Cammus! How about you help us out now that the game is officially out?
For what I’ve seen regarding other wheels, the issue seems to be caused by multiple peripherals connected through the wheel itself. What have worked so far has been:
Turn off the PC, disconnect all devices from the wheel itself, start the PC and the game and it should work correctly, then connect the peripherals one at a time to let the game recognize them.
