I’ve been posting a lot because I’m genuinely desperate to get off this mouse steering. To give you some context, I’m currently clocking 2:17.3 at Spa in Assetto Corsa Evo using a MOUSE. I spend hours tuning my own setups just to compensate for the lack of FFB. If I can do this with a cursor, imagine what I could do with 12Nm of Direct Drive torque. Looking closer at the 2025 specs, as someone who builds their own car setups, the LC100 V4 is what actually keeps me up at night. The jump to a 200kg Load Cell isn’t just a bigger number; it’s about that muscle memory under heavy braking into corners like La Source or Les Combes. The M8 damper and the 207% stiffness increase mean I can finally stop worrying about equipment flex and start focusing purely on the telemetry. Also, for the C5/C12 refresh, the move to iron paddles is a massive ‘thank you’ to the community. Tactile feedback is everything when you’re downshifting mid-corner. I don’t just want a gear upgrade; I want to show the CAMMUS community that a ‘mouse warrior’ can transition into a top-tier sim racer with the right hardware. Ready to trade the sensor for a motor!
