Had my C5 since January and absolutely love it. The clamp is pretty decent as well but the pads on top of the circular covers that clamp to the underside of the desk are pretty much done for already. Any recommendations for an upgrade/DIY fix? I don’t have a simrig or room for one for that matter so it’s only ever going to be fixed to my desk.
tbf it is good for a few uses, no problem if you keep the wheel fixed all the time, but if one keeps mounting and removing it, it won’t last long. A better solution is to glue a rubber feet under the round piece, It is sturdy and will give a good grip.
It would be helpful to have some images for the users to understand this situation better.
Can you add some images to your original post so more users can understand it try to share their experience?
