Hello Everyone,
I am making this post to share and discuss our sim racing setups.
I have used C5 with PXN A9 Stand then moved on to Next Level FGT-Lite rig which is decent but still flexes at heavy braking and deep turns.
Here are some images from my setup.
Current Shot:
Before cable management
After cable management
My Current Setup Details:
- Cammus C5 Wheel Base
- Next Level FGT-Lite Seat
- SimRuiTo LC Pedals and Truck Gear knob.
- Sim Jacks 7+R gear shifter
- DIY Rumble Pedals using Arduino Uno
- Hotas One for Flight sim
You can share your setup and it will be helpful if you can also mention the equipment’s used to mount the wheel base and other parts too.
Thanks.
I started with a Wheel Stand Pro V2 meant for a Logitech G27. Had to manually drill holes to fit the C5 (without base clamp). It was good enough to hold me over, but wasn’t quite stable enough for the 5Nm wheel. I’ve since upgraded to a Playseat Trophy. It had predrilled holes that fit my C5. I’m not noticing any flex or movement now.

Argh.
I love that extra plate under gear shifter. I could use it for my flight sim gear but I need foldable as I don’t have space in the room, With a full size rig it will take most of the open space in the room.
BTW Welcome to the forum.
Funny you mention that. It’s included with the gearshift & handbrake holder kit. It’ll eventually hold any upgraded shifter & handbrake, but I was planning to put my Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 on it for Distance before I realized that Distance doesn’t even recognize the C5.

Hey there @spikerguy , can you please tell me how are your mounting holes aligned ? i would immensely appreciate if you could provide me with some close up pictures. I have the exact same pedals for and f-gt lite too.
Thanks in advance
For C5 or C12 ?
I have both mounted in similar way, using nut bolt through the rig base.
This is C5
For c12 it is the same just using the center holes.
Hey, thanks for the reply.
Maybe i didnt specify and i should have, i meant the pedals and the pedal plate, but i ended up stretching the holes on the base mount to fit it in! it’s functional by now
Pedal? My pedals are different.
i have the same pedals bro, the simruito, i’ll put in a picture of my humble setup so that you can see what i was talking about. i still don’t have the shifter, but i will, soon.
i wasn’t able from the beginning to install the base plate from the pedals into the seat, because they wouldn’t line up. So i had to “stretch” the holes that are furthest apart, by drilling a bit.
