Struggling with my new C5, Please Help

Hi guys! I got my C5 and set up my rig, but I am struggling with playing any of the games. It appears that my computer is recognizing my wheel as a controller, and only showing X Y axis. I believe this is causing my car to constantly spin our and lose control. Aside from this, in games like JDM Drift Master it has the “wheel” option grayed out.

Things I tried - Updated drivers in the Cammus software. Turned off steam inputs. Tried holding the top buttons and power cycling. I am using a proper USB input.

In CarX it works pulls up and the key binds are fine, but the wheel seems to be prone to crashing a lot and spinning at hyper speeds when trying to find center point.

In Assetto similar results

In JDM Drift Master it is grayed out, I can hot key bind it to play but I still experience the spinning out really bad.

You need to reduce the force feedback gain in the game and the cammus app.
Reduce all other setting in cammus app and gradually increase it to your liking.

For jdm is a bad game which barely have any steering wheel support.

For assetto Corsa and other sim titles it should just work fine. Just tune the force feedback setting correctly.
